The Georgia College campus will experience a series of office relocations this semester to provide students, faculty and staff with the most efficient resources and services, according to Associate Provost Tom Ormond.
?
The following departments are currently in the process of relocating:
- Student Health Services at 222 Beeson Hall will move to the Wellness and Recreation Center on West Campus; and
- Counseling Services at 132 Lanier Hall will move to the Wellness and Recreation Center on West Campus.
Students needing health or counseling services should enter the Wellness and Recreation Center through the rear entrance.? Bobcat cards are required.
Additionally:
- The Career Center at 232 Lanier Hall moved to 132 Lanier Hall;
- Disability Services at 133 Maxwell Student Union moved to the first floor of Lanier Hall;
- Center for Student Success at the Bone House, 141 S. Clarke St., will move to 223 and 232 Lanier Hall; and
- International Education Center at 223 Lanier Hall will move to the Bone House, 141 S. Clarke St.
?
Since office areas need vacating before a new unit can move in, the moves are occurring sequentially, Ormond said.?
?Facilities expects to complete the relocation process by February although delays are always possible,? he said.
