It?s a strange world we?re living in. Recently Apple won a lawsuit in the United States because according to the verdict, ?Samsung was copying their designs too much. Now in Japan, Apple lost a lawsuit from Samsung. A Tokyo judge has ruled that Samsung didn?t infringe on a patent of Apple that describes synchronizing music and video data with servers. Apple now has to pay for the lawsuit and doesn?t get the 1.3 USD it claimed for compensation.
Apple sued Samsung in Tokyo last year claiming that the Galaxy S, Galaxy Tab and Galaxy S II all were?infringing?on the?synchronization?patent. ?Apple also tried to prevent the sales of 8 Galaxy models on the Japanese market but also that request was declined. Read more on the Washington Post.
