Itsy Bitsy Spider {Closed}

Rogue sighed as she stared down at the grave. Tesla?s grandfather was almost like her own. She had grown up with Tesla; practically sisters. She shook her head, black and red strands falling into her face to cover her sorrow clouded eyes. She was going to miss the man. He had been such a kind and giving person.

Rogue looked up after her friend and pushed her hair behind her ear. She gave Tesla some space as the man came up to her to discuss things she would have saved for another day. Tesla just lost her grandfather for crying out loud.

When the man left, she took up her place beside her. ?Hey Tes,? she called softly. ?You want to hang out by yourself tonight or you up for some distraction?? she asked. She hated being sad. She preferred to fill her time with plenty of distractions so she could push off tragedy. ?Maybe come over to my place and have some ice cream and pudding? Watching some stupid horror flick??

Izari curled up in his little box and glared at the humans around him. He snarled and hissed and hit the glass whenever they came too close to him in an attempt to scare them away. He didn?t want them to touch him. He would rather go back to the big box with his web than sit here in this tiny shit box and watch as the people around him gloated and pointed; the scientists listing things they had learned about him by poking him and invading his body. They all treated him like he was a mindless idiot who couldn?t understand language. He hadn?t graced them with speech after all. They didn?t deserve it.

?We want to see more of it. It?s just curled up in the corner. Is there a way you can bring it out, keep it chained?? one of the older men at the table asked.

Izari continued to snarl but his attention had zeroed in. If they opened the door, he could get out. Maybe this was his chance to be free.

The scientists looked at each other and shrugged. Oh how Izari?s heart fluttered in his chest like a squirming humming bird. The men brought over a chain and two men slowly started to open the box. Izari tensed up a little, his eyes narrowed as one man started to reach in. When he was close enough, door impossible to close with the human?s arm in the way, Izari rushed forward and bit down on the man?s hand as hard as he could, his fangs sinking deep into the hand and injecting his venom. The human cried out and started to pull away. Izari jumped to the second and bit him as well before he ran. So much for his plan to make them all pay. He was more interested in gaining freedom.

?Get him!? he heard one of the men yelling.

So close; the window was right there. One of the men jumped him and slammed him hard into the ground. Izari hissed, clawing the man?s face before he squirmed away and hurled himself at the window. With the force of his speed and weight, the window shattered and Izari tumbled down. It wasn?t too hard of a drop but it still disoriented him a little and the glass cut at his delicate skin. He winced and stumbled to his feet. He heard a loud bang before pain erupted in his arm.

Izari cried out and clung to his shoulder. Blood stained his pale skin. He didn?t look back. He ran through the streets and over fences. He had to get away. Izari didn?t know how long and how far he had run, but it was tired and his arm was aching. He curled up in a dark corner between two buildings and looked at his shoulder. It hurt so much and there was so much blood. He had nothing to suppress the wound with. He couldn?t even clean it. He closed his eyes trying to rest himself a little before he got up again.

It wasn?t long before he forced himself back on his feet and started to move. He was so cold. He hugged himself trying to keep warm. He looked around wary of humans. He didn?t know what the rest of the populating would be like after all. He didn?t want to wind up back in a box or in the hands of more scientists. Where was he anyway? He wanted to go home. This place was so strange.
